How to Use:

50 mg Coq10 Ubiquinol supplement (also referred to as Coenzyme Q10 or Coenzyme CoQ-10) is a powerful antioxidant found in virtually all body cell membranes and tissues. Its primary function is to serve as a catalyst to convert food into energy. The highest ubiquinol concentrations are in the heart, kidney, pancreas and liver. CoQ10 levels naturally decline with age. Levels have also been shown to be low in patients with diabetes, cancer and heart disease.
The ubiquinol form of CoQ10 is the antioxidant form of CoQ10 (whereas the ubiquinone form is the oxidized version of the nutrient). The body naturally converts the ubiquinone form of CoQ10 into the ubiquinol form to produce cellular energy, but this conversion becomes less efficient by age 40. When the ubiquinol form is consumed, it's readily available without going through the conversion process first. Ubiquinol is also called the reduced, active form of CoQ10.
